Ministry of Thought
An Interactive
Romantic Comedy
"Two For The Road" is a "tale of two misfits" and the strange things that happen when they fall in love. The bizarre adventure begins when terminally hip Robbi Bailey and cynical working man Roadkill Jones hook up to share a ride from LA to Amarillo. Cheap transportation to a family wedding is all these strangers are hoping for, but fate and circumstance have much more in mind.

The Gas and Eat

A Surreal Roadtrip
As they travel the American highways, Robbi and Roadkill encounter enough action to last more than a lifetime: breakdowns in no man's land, UFO encounters, government spies, teenage thugs, cryogenically frozen heads, gambling fever, do-it-yourself strip joints, ghostly mariachis, Satan's baby, gun-toting hillbillies, and a wedding that could end all thoughts of marriage.

Puzzles and Arcades
For
Dharma Bums
Like any road trip, "Two For The Road" is a mind game. Who chooses the car tunes? Should you eat the corn nuts in the trunk? How do you find your way out of a poorly-marked cave? Did you get the best rate from that blind psychic mechanic? How fast and hard do you swat when a bee lands on the driver's head? What do you throw if you're caught in a holy war?

Artificial Intelligence
And Emotion
One or two players can play this blend of puzzles, arcades and interactive conversations. Rich and deep conversational databases imbue the game's synthetic personalities with the ability to respond intelligently and emotionally. Players can badger, praise, annoy, ignore, flirt with and snub the AI characters--or each other--to see how they respond. Once a choice is made, the corresponding line of dialogue is delivered by the player's on-screen persona. In a one person game, the game engine chooses a response for the player's "better half" while a two player game allows the opponent to choose a comeback from a computer-selected range of emotional response buttons.

Mind-Bending
Visuals
3D Model of Robbi Bailey

"Two For The Road's" unconventional theme is visually presented in an equally unconventional manner. Animation, video, 3D and 2D rendering techniques are combined to create a unique and memorable visual experience. Lively and expressive characters interact in worlds that may be highly realistic or highly interpretive, leaving the viewer with unexpected delights in every scene.

A Game For Couples,
Singles, Men and
Women
Robbi and Roadkill operate as a team, so players must work cooperatively or combatively to reach the end of the line. Forget about that claustrophobia... it's about sticking together, side by side, whether you want to or not. As they discover the hidden outposts of the American Southwest, Robbi and Roadkill get to know each other: how they act in tough situations, their philosophies, how they chew their food... all the things it normally takes couples months or years to learn about each other. Our pair can wind up falling in love, becoming mortal enemies, or a little bit of both.
